Because the opportunity to re-do a project is dependent upon the condition that you initially turn it in on time and give it a good go, we require that you submit a screenshot or PDF version of your completed blog posts before the given deadlines. This can be done a few different ways.
To create a PDF copy/screenshot of your Portfolio pages, you can use any of the following options:
In your browser with your completed post open, select "File" and then "Print" and change the location to "Save as PDF."
Once you have the PDF/screenshot:
Submit the PDF copy/screenshot the same way that you would upload any document to Learning Suite by clicking on the specified assignment, clicking "View/Submit," and uploading your PDF. The screenshot is to ensure that students complete projects on time, and grading will take place on the actual blog.
Resubmitting Portfolio Assignments:
If projects have been submitted by the original due date, then students have the opportunity to incorporate feedback and resubmit each assignment for full points. Students can submit as many times as necessary to achieve their desired grade. However, any revisions that will be done must be submitted by 11:59 pm of the specified Re-Do date the TAs assign. If a student did not originally submit a Project by the original due date, then 50% of the original points possible will be deducted from the student's score on that assignment and there is no opportunity to resubmit it. To resubmit Portfolio Assignments, make the necessary changes and message my TA through Learning Suite with a link to your portfolio and an explanation of the changes you made. DO NOT resubmit your link through Learning Suite or the system will mark your assignment as late.
Note on late work/resubmitting assignments:
All assignments must represent the original work of the student handing it in. All assignments are to be handed in on or before the date they are due. Assignments turned in late will incur a loss of 50% of the points. Therefore, if a student turns in an assignment late that otherwise would have received 8 of 10 points possible, it will be docked 5 points and receive 3 of the 10 points for being turned in late. All assignments (late or otherwise) must be turned in on or before the last day of classes so you can focus on studying for the final.. ASSIGNMENTS TURNED IN AFTER THE LAST CLASS MEETING, WILL NOT BE GRADED.
